Case Study 2 • Container Handling in a Clean Room Environment

Challenge:
Automate the filling and delivery of dedicated plastic containers in a clean-room atmosphere.

Solution:
Provide a container queuing conveyor system, with an automated gantry transfer used for the automatic removal of container lids prior to the container filling/compaction station. After the container is filled, the gantry transfer will replace the lid before the material handling system allows the container to exit the clean-room.
